Sophisticated hotel, very helpful and useful staff, stunning location further away from the city centre. Brand-new, beautifully maintained room with drinks, great bed, bedroom. Great breakfast to start the day.

Whenever we go to Barcelona, we stay in this hotel. Normally my husband goes there on a business trip, but sometimes I accompany him and take advantage of the opportunity to do some sightseeing until he returns. The quality of the food is very good, and so are the breakfasts. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable. It is true that it is not the most modern hotel of the moment, but it has a very acceptable quality and comfort. . The location is also very good, as the subway is a 2 minute walk away, and it connects you to the city center in 20-25 minutes . Another very good point, at least for us, is that it has parking (or free parking outside if you are lucky enough to find space), which is not very common in Barcelona .
What I have observed a couple of times that I like less, is related to the issue of cleanliness. Be careful, they do the rooms every day and everything is fine, but this last time, the sink was like dirty, but then I hit it with a cotton ball and it didn't go away... it must have been a stain from some time ago, but it gave a very bad image. And another time I found a couple of long hairs in the shower. (nothing, I hit it with the artichoke and go on), but to put details to improve.

excellent room in terms of space and professionalism of the entire staff
We liked everything in general, only problem is that the rooms facing the roads or the ring road are a bit loud. you can sleep, it doesn't bother you at all. We were on the eighth floor, so it was easy to bear, I think that can be easily solved by putting a simple interior window, would avoid all noise, attention of people, service, facilities and perfect room, rooms with plenty of space, well equipped bathroom with sufficient personal hygiene products. Excellent for me. There is the hotel management school and you can see that they are all professionals. As for the location, it is not near the center but is very well connected by public transport and there is an entrance to the subway a few meters away. By subway in 15 minutes or less you are already close to the Ramblas and rest of the city. Better almost impossible and price, if you buy with the downtown accommodations very cheap.

hotel is fine. I already knew it was on the outskirts of Barcelona towards the interior, it is well connected with an underground station 100m from the hotel, on a line (the green one), leads directly to Plaza Cataluna or even Plaza Espana (if you don't want to connect with the red line). There is a very good restaurant (somewhat expensive) and with typical dishes quite close by (Can Cortada). To get to the hotel from the airport the best combination is Aerobus to Plaza Cataluna and metro from there.
You have to take into account that hotels in Barcelona and Madrid are very expensive. As for the condition of the room, just to say that the wallpaper was a little raised by the edges. Taking into account the hotel's pretensions, this aspect should be taken care of a little. The air conditioning was too fair, and if you opened the windows to cool down, you could hear too much street noise despite being on an eighth floor: the hotel is near the Ronda de Dalt (Paseo Valle Hebron), a very busy artery with fast traffic. We did not try the breakfast because it was very expensive (17 euros, although there was a discount if you booked in advance at the reception). The day of our arrival, a working Wednesday) we wanted to have dinner near the hotel and one of the recommended restaurants (google) was closed and another one we couldn't find. It is an area with few shops. Although the hotel is well connected with the center of Barcelona, it was a bit lazy to return at night. Perhaps it is worth paying a little more and be more central.

hotel is very nice and rooms are spacious and comfortable. As there is a hospital nearby and there is a lot of ambulance traffic, it is important to note that the rooms are well insulated from noise. It is located in the neighborhood of Horta, is quiet and familiar. When we entered the room there was a broken smoke outlet and it was hanging. we told the receptionist he offered us free breakfast or to move immediately to another room. So the attention of the staff was very efficient and friendly.
In spite of the good care, they should have checked the room before our entrance so that we wouldn't have found that piece badly placed . If you're looking for a subway entrance nearby, this isn't the right hotel. The two closest ones are about a 10-15 minute walk away. But if you have your own car, there are plenty of places to park nearby.

my stay was fantastic, especially since i could easily stroll to the gorgeous jardini del palau de les heures just a few steps away, and the amazing basilica of the sagrada familia was under 30 minutes of walking, making it perfect for a weekend traveler like me who loves city exploration and scenic views.

Good clean room with nice beds. With windows closed no noise from the nearby highway. Metrostation at 200 meters, brings you to Catalunya (main transfer station) or one stop further at Liceu (at the middle of La Rambla) in 15 minutes.
There is absolutely nothing to do in the neighborhood of the hotel. There is a little store at carrer de Juan de Mena where one could buy some bottled water/sodas and snacks, but no recreational stuff what so ever.

Comfortable Stay with Some Drawbacks
We enjoyed spacious rooms and helpful staff during our 4-night visit. The nearby Mundet metro station made exploring Barcelona easy. A decent place for families.

The hotel is located far from the center of the city, next to comfortable highway. Two subway stations help to reach all the beauties of Barcelona. Hotel includes nice yard with trees and sphere-shaped lamps on them. Ample and modern rooms with cozy bathrooms, nice atmosphere, tactful personnel.
